FAQs

How can my phone measure my mental health?

Your phone tracks patterns in your daily routines—like sleep, activity, and social interactions. The Health Rhythms app uses the principles of the social rhythms theory to factor in those three metrics to give you a Behavioral Vital Signs® score which is a measurement of your mental health.

Can Health Rhythms diagnose my depression or anxiety?

No, Health Rhythms doesn’t diagnose conditions. The app is a tool that helps you understand your mental health with measurable data to share with your therapist. Our Care Navigators can’t diagnose you but they can connect you to a therapist of your choice who can diagnose and provide treatment.

Can I use Health Rhythms if I’m already on medication or in therapy?

Absolutely. Health Rhythms complements your existing treatment by providing measurements to help you and your therapist see what’s working. In fact, combining the social rhythms theory with medication enhances treatment effectiveness by approximately 65%.

Can Health Rhythms treat my depression or anxiety?

Health Rhythms isn’t a treatment, it’s a tool that supports your treatment by tracking progress and connecting you with a therapist who understands your needs.

What kind of therapists can I get matched with?

Our Care Navigators will work with you to find out what you need from therapy. You’ll be connected to licensed therapists within your insurance network, whether you prefer online or in-person sessions.
